Frank Lucas, a longstanding member of the U.S. Congress representing Oklahoma’s 3rd district, has recently shared insights and updates through his social media platform. Known for his tenure since replacing Glenn English in 1994, Lucas provides commentary on pressing legislative matters.

On March 3, 2025, Lucas expressed support for Secretary Rollins' prompt actions to provide essential aid to producers. He stated, "I commend @SecRollins for taking quick action to ensure producers receive this crucial aid in the coming weeks."

The following day, March 4, he announced an upcoming hearing by the Task Force on Monetary Policy at the Financial Committee. Lucas highlighted its significance by saying, "This morning at @FinancialCmte, we will hold the first hearing from the Task Force on Monetary Policy, Treasury Market Resilience, and Economic Prosperity. We’ll be taking a look at how the Fed controls the money supply and interest rates – and why it matters to every American."

Later that day, he reflected on discussions held during the Task Force hearing about monetary policy issues impacting Americans. Specifically mentioning concerns regarding financial metrics used by the Federal Reserve: "At today’s Task Force hearing, we had the opportunity to discuss a number of monetary policy issues that have real impacts on Americans. One issue in particular was the Fed’s calculation of the supplementary leverage ratio."
