On Thursday, November 30, former Lee's Summit North High School standout, Mikel Henderson’s current college team, the Mid-America Christian Evangels, won 62-61 in their NAIA game against the Wayland Baptist Pioneers.

The game took place in Plainview, Texas. This was the first matchup against the Wayland Baptist Pioneers this season.

The Mid-America Christian Evangels’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, December 2 at 3:45 p.m. in Goodwell, Oklahoma.
