University Of Science & Arts Of Oklahoma Rice and Rey Claim All-American Recognitions

Wednesday afternoon, the NAIA announced their women's soccer All-American teams and the Drovers had two representatives on the list. Emma Rice (SR/Norman, OK) and Alicia Rey (SO/Valladolid, Spain) each earned honorable mention selections after a historic season on the pitch.

The dominant duo of Rice and Rey closed the 2022 season ranking at the top of nearly every offensive statistical category in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Rice led the SAC in points (48), as well as ranking second in the in goals (19) and third in assists (10). Rey ranks second in the conference in assists (12), as well as third in points (40) and goals (14).

Emma Rice has appeared on the All-American list five times throughout her historic career.

Rice has tallied 130 goals, 50 assists, and 310 points. She currently ranks 5th in NAIA history in goals, as well as points.

The All-American honor is surprisingly the first of Alicia Rey's career. Last month, she claimed her first SAC Offensive Player of the Year award, along with her third First-Team All-SAC selection. In her marvelous career, Rey has tallied 44 goals, 27 assists, and 115 points in 60 games played. She currently ranks 6th in program-history in goals, 6th in assists, and 5th in points.
