On Friday, the Sooner Athletic Conference released its 2021-22 women's track and field scholar-athletes, presented by Barnes & Noble College. The Drovers had a pair of representatives on the list, Arlette Melendez and Chelsea Fuston.
To be eligible for SAC scholar-athlete accolades, a student-athlete must be at least a junior in academic standing while maintaining no lower than a 3.5 cumulative grade-point average. Athletes also must have attended the nominating institution for at least two years as a non-transfer or one year as a transfer and be on the program's NAIA eligibility certificate.
