Ace Hardware & Garden Center to give away American flags

Ace Hardware & Garden Center will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Oklahoma lost 475 soldiers in the Korean war and 671 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 987 E Veterans Memorial Hwy, Blanchard will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Tony K Burris Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Ace Hardware & Garden Center while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Ace Hardware & Garden Center is located at 987 E Veterans Memorial Hwy, Blanchard, Oklahoma. This location is owned by Chris Bartlett, represented by Gordon Wright and managed by Chris Barlett.
