The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Tom Jeffrey Cole, Cole for Congress, refunded $1,200 to Robert J. Thompson on May 25, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution to political committees (other than Super PACs and Hybrid PACs) from an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Cole for Congress has refunded $6,800 total since Dec. 1, 2020.
