78 percent of applicants to the University of Oklahoma-Norman Campus were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Oklahoma-Norman Campus, 90 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 50 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Norman enrolled 28,564 students in fall 2018, including 22,152 in undergraduate and 6,412 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

57 percent of undergraduates are residents of Oklahoma, and 40 percent are residents of other states. 3 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (60 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (10 percent).

The school admitted 78 percent of the 15,811 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 36 percent enrolled.
